UK high frequency welding specialist Speed Plastics, has invested in two new machines at its head offices in Chesterfield. The state-of-the-art machinery has been introduced to improve efficiency levels for clients and ensure the company delivers the highest level of service possible.

The first machine – an automatic silicon dispenser – will help reduce waste by lowering the number of failures along the production line. The other is a tape cutting machine that automatically and accurately cuts webbing, tape and tubing. This will be used for a wide range of products manufactured by the company.

Operations Director Jane Collyer, explains “We are always looking at how we can make our manufacturing processes more efficient for customers. The new machinery will not only increase productivity but will also help to reduce errors and ensure we are only offering 100% customer service for our clients.”
