Team member will be sadly missed

Staff at Speed Plastics have today held a collection in honour of one of their production operatives who has sadly passed away.

Denise Brears had been battling lung cancer for 10 months but lost her fight on the 23rd July. She passed away peacefully at Ashgate Hospicecare in Chesterfield with her family around.

Denise was extremely popular at Speed and will be sadly missed. All the monies raised will be donated to Ashgate Hospice. Our thoughts are with her family during this time.

Operations Director, Jane Collyer said “Denise was very much part of the Speed Plastics team. She was hard working, conscientious and popular. She always remained positive throughout her illness and fought right to the end. She will be greatly missed by us all.”
